Biography
Anthony J. Leigh, a native of Sheffield, Alabama, came to Huntingdon as vice president for college and alumni relations in 2009. In his current role, he oversees the Center for Career and Vocation, alumni relations, development, fundraising, donor relations, communication and marketing, and student affairs.
Prior to his work at Huntingdon, Mr. Leigh served as Alabama’s Deputy State Treasurer, overseeing the external affairs of the Alabama Treasury Department. He also worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative assistant for U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions, Huntingdon Class of 1969, for three years.
Anthony and his wife, Wendy, and their daughter, Carey Mae, live in Montgomery and are are active United Methodists. He is the past chairman of the Advisory Board of Baptist Medical Center East and a member of the Montgomery Rotary Club. Anthony is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Alabama.
